Introduction of GIME’s Scholarships Policy

Outstanding New Student Award

 

The university provides full and half scholarships for new coming international students exclusively, which is called 

“Outstanding New Student Award”. The purpose of “Outstanding New Student Award” is to encourage diligence, 

nurture international professions and attract excellent international students to join in our bachelor and master programs.

 

First Prize

Free course & program fee for the first year. (Exclude accommodation fee & living cost)

Requirements:

For the first prize of Master Program applicant, the following conditions should be met:

A recognized Bachelor Degree;

Between the age of 18-40;

IELTS 6.0 or above (with 6.0) or equivalent proof of English proficiency ;

80% or above (with 80%) undergraduate average grades or equivalent grades approved by GIME or be a holder of special honor.

For the first prize of Bachelor Program applicant, the following conditions should be met:

A recognized high school abitur;

Between the age of 16-35;

IELTS 6.0 or above (with 6.0) or equivalent proof of English proficiency ;

80% or above (with 80%) senior high school grades or equivalent grades approved by GIME or be a holder of special honor.

 

Second Prize:

Free course & program fee for one semester of the first year. (Exclude accommodation fee & living cost)

Requirement:

For the second prize of Master Program applicant, the following conditions should be met (or could be satisfied as an alternative):

A recognized Bachelor Degree;

Between the age of 18-40;

IELTS 6.0 or above (with 6.0) or equivalent proof of English proficiency ;

80% or above (with 80%) undergraduate average grades or equivalent grades approved by GIME or be a holder of special honor.

For the second prize of Bachelor Program applicant, the following conditions should be met (or could be satisfied as an alternative):

Notice: Due to limited scholarship will be given by university; additional materials/interview may be required in order to test student’s overall ability.

 

 

Academic Outstanding Student Award

The purpose of “Academic Outstanding Student Award” for International students is to encourage diligence, nurture international 

professions and attract excellent international students. Evaluation will consider both class attendance and academic performance 

of the previous academic year.Academic Outstanding Student Award” includes two ratings: the first prize and the second prize.

 

The first prizeThe student can receive a full scholarship after the previous academic year is completed and has been evaluated.

The second prizeThe student can receive half of the scholarship after the previous academic year is completed and has been evaluated.

 

 

An International student who wishes to apply for the “Academic Outstanding Student Award” should meet the following conditions:

 

1.     Submit an “Academic Outstanding Student Award” application to GIME International office in September for previous academic year’s award.

2.     Have not applied for any other scholarship at the same time as the “Academic Outstanding Student Award“.

3.     Student who drops the school wont receive the previous year scholarship

4.     For the first prize, the following conditions should be met

Achieve average 90% or above (with 90%) for the previous academic year;

Less than three absences for each course (with three time) ;

Without any fail record or any campus misconduct/behavioral reports.

5.     For the second prize, the following conditions should be met

Achieve average 85% or above (with 85%) for the previous year;

Less than three absences for each course (with three times) ;

Without any fail record or any campus misconduct/behavioral reports.

6.    Additional materials/interview will be required in order to test student’s overall ability.
